Statistics and network analysis

Network statistics show figures, charts and analyses of your network. They detect topics that connect several people, and places where your network is weakly connected.

Network statistics #

You open the statistics on the “Home” tab by tapping the welcome card. At the top there are four tiles: “Contacts”, “Encounters”, “Organizations” and “This month”. The “Life areas” card shows how contacts and encounters are distributed across your life areas.

Below that come previews of topic trends, topic clusters, topic recommendations, network gaps and gap recommendations, as well as the “Gap history” and “Topic network” buttons. Charts show “Network growth” and “Encounters” for the last six months, “Relationship strength”, “Top organizations” by number of members and “Documents per organization”.

  • “Export trend report” or the Share icon at the top left creates a PDF with trends, clusters and recommendations and opens the Share sheet.
  • The question mark opens Help; “Done” closes the statistics.
NoteThe topic cards only fill up once Linknor has analyzed content with AI, such as shared articles or emails.

Topic clusters and recommendations #

A topic cluster is a group of content, people and organizations with shared topics. Linknor builds the clusters from your analyzed content.

Via “Show all clusters” you open “Topic clusters”. The view shows key figures and one card per cluster with up to five topics and the number of content items, people and organizations. Tap a card to see “Topics in cluster”, “Linked people”, “Linked organizations” and the content. Tap a content item to open it.

  • “Topic recommendations” shows for each cluster which people and organizations share the topic.
  • “Topic network” displays the connections between topics as an interactive graph.
NoteClusters only form once there are at least two content items with shared topics. Linknor can notify you about new recommendations.

Network gaps and gap history #

Network gaps show places where topics or groups in your network are poorly connected. Linknor distinguishes separate clusters, weak bridges, individuals as a weak point and dormant clusters. At the top you see the number of detected gaps and their severity: High, Medium or Low.

Each card gives a description and a suggestion for what you can do. Tap a card to expand it and see “Affected contacts” and “Topics”.

The “Gap recommendations” card leads via “Show all recommendations” to concrete actions with priority. The arrow next to an action opens the affected person.

The gap history shows how network gaps develop over time. You open it in the network statistics with the “Gap history” button.

At the top, “Network health” summarizes the trend, for example “Stable”. Below are “Current Gaps”, “Resolved” and the average duration. The “Gap trend” chart shows the number of gaps over time. The “Resolved gaps” list names closed gaps and how long they were open.

How it works

  1. Open the network statistics.
  2. In the “Network gaps” card, tap “Show all gaps”.
NoteLinknor only detects gaps once there are topic clusters. Without gaps, the view shows “All connected!”. Linknor saves a history point when you open the network statistics. Without data, “No history data yet” appears.
TipOpen the network statistics regularly so that the history becomes meaningful.
