Timeline and Map

The activity timeline shows, in order, what has happened in your network. The map view shows contacts, organizations, encounters, and places on a map.

The timeline lists events sorted by month and day: encounters with their participants, new roles in organizations, new relationships between people, and newly linked contacts.

At the top, you choose the time range: “7 days”, “30 days”, “90 days”, or “All”. The “Search in timeline…” field searches the titles and descriptions of the entries.

How it works

  1. Open More › “Activity timeline” or, on the “Home” tab, tap the quick action “Show timeline”.
  2. Choose the time range.
  3. Enter a search term if needed.
NoteThe entries are meant as an overview. To edit an encounter or a contact, open it in the corresponding tab. If there is nothing in the time range, “No activity” appears.

The map view shows your data as markers on a map. You open it via More › “Map view”. Use the bar at the bottom to show or hide groups: “Contacts”, “Companies”, “Orgs”, “Enc.”, and “Locations”.

Tapping a marker opens a sheet with details. Depending on the marker, it offers “Open contact”, “Open organization”, “Filter contacts”, or “Open in Maps”. The last action opens the place in Apple Maps.

NoteThe map only shows items for which Linknor knows an address or a place.
