The “Home” tab at a glance #

The “Home” tab consists of cards and sections stacked one below the other. At the top, you find your profile, the greeting with the numbers of your network, and the quick actions. Below follow key figures, tasks, gifts, anniversaries, communication, suggestions, and lists about your contacts.

Tapping the heading of a section collapses or expands it. If you pull the page down, Linknor syncs with iCloud and recalculates the cards.

  • The greeting card shows the number of your contacts, organizations, and encounters. Tapping it opens “Network statistics”.
  • You set the order and visibility of the sections in the settings.
NoteSome cards appear only when there is something to show, for example the gift coach or the link suggestions.

My profile, weekly report, and birthdays #

At the very top is the “My profile” card with your name. Tapping it opens your profile with relationships and settings. The “…” menu offers “Open profile & relationships”, “Edit contact details”, “Settings & signatures”, “Choose another contact”, and “Remove reference”. “Edit contact details” opens your contact card and saves changes to the address book.

To the right of it, the tile with the calendar week, such as “Wk 41”, opens the weekly report. Below it, a small indicator shows the status of iCloud sync, for example “Synced”. To the right of that, you see people who have a birthday soon. An avatar with a birthday today opens the congratulations sheet; the other avatars and the arrow open the birthday list.

NoteAs long as you haven't chosen your own contact, this shows “Set up my profile”. Birthdays appear only with access to your contacts.

Quick actions #

Below the greeting are four tiles for common tasks. You can scroll the bar horizontally.

  • “Link contact” opens the picker for your address book. After that, you see the profile of the selected contact.
  • “Log encounter” opens the sheet for a new encounter.
  • The calendar icon in the corner of this tile opens “Import from calendar”. With it, you take over appointments as encounters.
  • “Create organization” opens the sheet for a new organization.
  • “Show timeline” opens the activity timeline.
Note“Link contact” needs access to your contacts, and the calendar import needs access to your calendar. Without Linknor Premium, you can link up to 10 contacts.

Data maintenance and relationship care #

Two key-figure cards show what you have maintained in the last seven days. Both have a small trend line and a streak with a flame icon. You collapse both cards together via the heading.

  • “Data maintenance” counts completed fields as well as saved and skipped entries. Tapping it opens the data maintenance assistant, which shows you contacts with missing details one after another.
  • “Relationship management” counts confirmed relationships and relationships postponed until later. Tapping it opens “Maintain relationships”, where you go through relationship suggestions.
TipShort, regular rounds keep your data up to date. The footers “Fill gaps” and “Short session” take you straight there.

Tasks #

The “Tasks” section shows the three most important open tasks. The number in parentheses is the total of all open tasks. The circle on the left checks off a task; tapping the row opens it for editing.

“New task” creates a task. “Show all” opens the complete task list with the List, Board, and Statistics views.

NoteWithout open tasks, this shows “No open tasks” with a plus button.
TipOn iPhone, you reach the complete task list via “Show all” in this section.

Gift coach and anniversaries #

The “Gift coach” card appears when an occasion with a gift is coming up. It shows “Upcoming decisions” and gifts that are “Planned”, up to three each. Tapping a decision opens the gift decision; tapping a planned gift opens its details. With the green checkmark, you mark a gift as purchased. “Show all” opens the complete list.

The “Upcoming anniversaries & honors” card shows up to five anniversaries in the next 90 days, for example years in a role. Tapping one opens the contact profile, and “Show all” opens the list of all anniversaries.

NoteYou turn the gift coach on or off under More › “Gift coach”. If it's off, the card disappears too.

Link suggestions #

Linknor recognizes people and organizations in your content that aren't linked yet. Each suggestion shows the item, the confidence as a percentage, and the name found under “Recognized as”.

“Link” assigns the item to the person or organization, and “Decline” discards the suggestion. Tapping the title opens the item.

If there are more than three suggestions, the link “Show all … suggestions” appears below them. It opens the AI analysis search. There, you search your analyzed content by topics, people, and actions.

NoteThis section appears only if there is content with AI analysis, such as shared emails or articles.

Reach out now? and follow-ups #

“Reach out now?” suggests three contacts you should get in touch with. Below the name is the reason, for example “Last contact 199 days ago”, an overdue follow-up, or “Barely any interaction yet”.

“Follow-ups” shows up to five contacts whose follow-up is due in the next seven days or already overdue.

Tapping a person opens their profile. From there, you get in touch by call, message, or email.

TipYou create a follow-up in the contact profile with “Set follow-up”.

  • “Recently edited” shows the five most recently changed contacts.
  • “Recent encounters” shows the last five encounters with the date and number of people. Tapping one opens the encounter for editing. With a swipe or a long press, you reach “Edit” and “Archive”. “Show all encounters” opens the list.

Documents, data quality, and maintenance requests #

“Organization documents” uses the counters “Assigned”, “Organizations”, and “Open” to show how many documents are assigned to organizations and how many have no assignment yet. Bars show the three organizations with the most documents. This section is for display only.

“Data quality” counts contacts “Without organization”, “Without recent encounter”, and “Without notes”. Tapping a counter opens the affected contacts with a matching action, such as “Assign organization”, “Log encounter”, or “Add notes”.

The “Delegate data maintenance” card counts open, completed, and draft maintenance requests. With “New request”, you ask someone to fill gaps in your data. The button with the clock opens the maintenance log.

NoteIf all contacts are complete, data quality shows “All contacts complete”.

Weekly report #

The weekly report summarizes a calendar week. You open it with the “Wk …” tile to the right of “My profile”.

At the top, you choose the week: with the arrows or by swiping left and right. Tapping the middle jumps back to the current week. The report contains the “Network overview” with the average score and the trend of encounters over eight weeks, “Activity this week”, the “Score distribution”, contacts that need attention, “New contacts”, and a “Tip of the week”.

How it works

  1. In the weekly report, tap the share icon at the top right.
  2. Choose “Share as text” or “Export as PDF”.
  3. In the Share sheet, choose the destination, for example Mail or Files.
NoteYou can't select future weeks. Sharing works through the Share sheet; Linknor never sends anything without your action.

Customize the “Home” tab #

Under More › Settings › Dashboard sections, you decide which sections the “Home” tab shows and in which order. The setting applies on all your devices.

Some sections are marked “Mac only”. They appear only in Linknor on the Mac, for example “Birthdays”, “Meetings per Month”, “Care tiles”, and “Favorites”.

  • Dragging the handle on the right changes the order.
  • The eye shows or hides a section.
  • The arrow sets whether a section starts collapsed.
  • “Restore default settings” resets everything to its original state.
TipYou can also collapse a section directly on the “Home” tab by tapping its heading.
