Organizations
Lists & groups
Lists bundle contacts and entire organizations for circulars, invitations or recurring relationship care. You find them in the “Contacts” tab in the “Lists” segment.
Lists at a glance #
In the “Contacts” tab, switch to “Lists” at the top. Under “Lists & groups” you see each list with its icon, color, number of contacts and up to three profile pictures. The number includes direct members and members of linked organizations. Tap a list to open it.
With “+” you create a new list: enter a “List name” and choose an icon and a color; the preview at the top shows the result. Then tap “Save”.
- Search field “Search”: finds lists by name.
- Swipe a list to the left: “Edit” or “Delete”. When you delete a list, the contacts are kept.
List details #
The header shows the icon, name and number of members. Below it follow the sections “Communication”, “Members”, “Linked organizations”, “Messenger group” and “List reminder”.
Under “Members”, each person shows the email address and phone number that apply to this list. A warning icon means you should check the address. Tap to open the profile. Swiping (“Address”, “Remove”) or a long press (“Change address”, “Remove from list”) adjusts the entry.
- “…” › “Add member”: select contacts, including “Select all” and “My profile”, then “Add (n)”. If a contact has several addresses, “Choose address” asks which one to use.
- “…” › “Edit list”: change the name, icon and color.
- “…” › “Export as vCard” and “Members as PDF” (“Compact list” or “Detailed with profiles”) open the Share menu. Both contain the direct members.
- “Link messenger group”: store the invite link of a WhatsApp, Telegram or Signal group. “Open messenger group” then launches the matching app.
- “List reminder”: “Reminder” switch and “Interval” from weekly to quarterly. Linknor reminds you with a notification.
Link an organization #
Instead of adding people one by one, you can link entire organizations to a list. Choose “…” › “Link organization”, or the “Link organizations” button in the “Linked organizations” section. Select one or more organizations and tap “Add (n)”. Organizations that are already linked are marked as “linked”.
Linknor determines the members of a linked organization only when sending; this way new members are included automatically. In the list, each organization shows “Type · Level · Location”, the number of members and a preview. Anyone who is already included directly or through a previously linked organization appears grayed out. A warning icon with a number shows contacts whose contact method you still need to choose; tap it to open the selection.
- Tap the header of a linked organization: opens the organization profile.
- Swipe an organization to the left › “Remove”: removes the link.
- In the organization profile, the list appears in the “In lists & groups” card.
Group email and group message #
In the “Communication” section you write to all members at once. “Send email to all” and “Send message to all” open a composer in Linknor. The recipients appear as capsules under “To (n)”: direct members and members of linked organizations, each with the address chosen for the list.
The Send button at the top right hands the message over to Mail or Messages; you send it from there. Afterwards, “Delivery confirmed” shows the status for each recipient, which you can correct to “Sent” or “Unclear” if needed.
- “Add recipient” and “Add Cc/Bcc” (email only) add more recipients.
- Subject, message, up to ten attachments and “Attach signature”.
- Bar at the top: drafts, AI text improvement, template and variable. Linknor saves drafts automatically.
- “Copy all emails” puts all addresses on the clipboard, for example for another email app.
